Use ZBrush to Create Creature Sculptures with a Focus on Form and Silhouette
In this class students will explore ZBrush and Photoshop as creature design tools. Core concepts in design such as silhouette, thumbnails, communication intent, and shape language will all be explored. After defining the best overall silhouette, students will learn the fastest and most dynamic tools for making quick and effective creature sculptures in ZBrush. These models will then be rendered using the BPR rendering toolset and further refined into concept illustrations which engage the viewer with dynamic pose, character, color, and presentation.
