Learn Improv Basics Such as Scenic Structure, Listening Skills and Give-and-Take
Improvisation is good for you! No matter what you do for a living, or what your interests are, the skills that are emphasized in improv can benefit you in all areas. Whether you are an accountant, a writer, a novice actor or a seasoned performer, this course is designed to develop your unique abilities in a supportive and challenging setting.
All students begin at Level 1, regardless of individual experience. You may be a seasoned improviser, but this is a conservatory course, and the students in your first session will become the team with whom you eventually perform. In order to build the trust and camaraderie that the most successful teams enjoy, all members must move through the process together. You will agree that this shared experience is vital to the success of a true ensemble.
