In this course we'll explore the foundation of Maya's dynamics system. We'll begin by mastering Maya's native particle system in addition to its advanced nParticle system. We'll get in-depth and learn how particle attributes work, exploring techniques for particle emission, the use of particle emitters, and how to creatively control particle motion with the use of fields.
As we move forward we'll see how to move data in and out of Maya, understanding and mastering the caching process of our particle simulations. We'll grasp how to create and utilize sprites in CG or live-action work with a quick overview of rigid bodies systems utilizing PhysX and Bullet.
Various class projects will be created and students will have an opportunity to create their own shot for their final project. Upon completion of this course students will be efficient with the basic foundations and fundamentals of Maya's robust dynamics system.
