Learn the Creative Process of Character Design
The main focus of this course is to teach the process of character design in the entertainment field. Students learn how to take a character from beginning to finish, going through the preproduction stages of "Research", "Blue sky", "Editing", and then final presentation. While developing a grasp of these fundamentals students will also develop confidence and professionalism in their work, enabling them to focus on actual design choices in their characters.
Basic tools such as thumbnails, silhouette design, figure invention, props, costumes, character archetypes, marker sketches, and digital painting will be covered and demoed in this course.
