3D Computer Animation and Visual Effects are collaborative arts. To be successful as a digital artist, visual effects supervisor or producer, there must be a level of trust and understanding established between all members of the production. This five-session course explores the communication, planning skills, and techniques required to create the atmosphere of cooperation and creativity that is necessary to complete great-looking work within schedule and budget.
Topics covered include communicating with directors and team-members, what the different departments on a feature film are responsible for, and what information must be communicated to and from them (including guest lectures by industry working professionals), and understanding the multiple steps of feature film visual effects production from start to finish.
