This character design course is a comprehensive continuation of the art and thought process behind the development of characters who convey a life and purpose beyond simply being works of art. Utilizing Photoshop, students will explore the use of photographic reference, textures, and digital painting techniques to create production-ready character designs. The ultimate goal of this course is to arm students with the tools necessary for researching, developing and creating memorable and resonant character designs for various forms of entertainment production.
